Introduction to Doug Freitag

A 40-year industry veteran with an established track record of creating partnerships with industry and the US Government to develop, finance and commercialize new technologies for use in Federal, Industrial and consumer markets. Areas of specialty include: advanced materials, advanced manufacturing, electronics, energy, health, autonomy, training, space, AI, data visualization, and security systems. Mr. Freitag has raised $750+ million in non-dilutive funding over the past 30 years to finance new technologies. Mr. Freitag’s distinguished career has included senior positions and several awards with Lockheed Martin for his contributions to defense and security systems, including the PAC-3 air and missile defense system. He also held R&D positions at Ford Motor Company and Honeywell. He currently serves as the Technical Director for the US Advanced Ceramics Association, a position held for the past 30 years. He has published and presented 80+ papers in advanced materials, been issued eight patents, organized and chaired numerous technical sessions at international meetings and participated in government panels in support of the advanced materials industry. Mr. Freitag has a BSME and MSME from Purdue University and has held a DOD Secret clearance for the past 40 years.
